FAQs

Questions worth answering well.

Do both partners need to attend?
Ideally yes, but we also work with one partner first when the other isn't ready. Many marriages have been changed by the work of one person.
Is this Christian / faith-based?
We work with couples of all faiths and none. Our therapists are clinically trained first; we honor your values without imposing ours.
What about cultural and family expectations?
African families come with complexity, extended kin, in-laws, financial obligations. We work within that reality, not around it.
How long until we see change?
Most couples feel a shift by session 3 or 4. Lasting pattern change takes longer, but early sessions usually create enough hope to keep going.
We value families.
